The Growing Journey

Growing a giant pumpkin takes patience, dedication and a whole lot of love. Here's what the journey looks like — month by month from the first seed to the big weigh-in.

Plant Your Seed

Collect your free seeds from Izelle. Prepare your soil, plant your seed and watch the magic begin.

First Shoots

Your vine starts growing! Water well, add compost and make sure your plant gets full sun every day.

November

Flowers Appear

Yellow flowers bloom. Hand-pollinate for best results and choose the strongest pumpkin to keep growing.

The Big Grow

Feed, water and protect your pumpkin. Giants can grow several kilograms per day during peak season!
